Nov 30, 2006 Springettsbury Township Police officers will play the Central York High teachers in a benefit flag football game at 6:30 p.m., tonight at Central. Admission is $2 or two canned goods. Proceeds benefit the York County Food Bank.

In case you didn’t hear, the calf roper beat the football player in Crook County, Wyo. In the county commission race on Nov. 7, Jim Hadley, who won the Mountain States Circuit calf-roping title in 1978, got more votes than former Minnesota Viking Rip Hawkins.
